San Joaquin Valley College is an accredited private junior college that provides accelerated, career-focused curriculum and instruction to its students. The College has prepared more than 25,000 graduates for professional success in their chosen careers.
Founded in 1977, SJVC has 13 campuses located throughout California — plus an online division — and offers more than 20 accelerated certificate and associate of science degree programs in the business, medical and technical fields.
Students benefit from a balance of classroom instruction and hands-on experience, learning the skills they need to go straight to work in today’s competitive job market.
SJVC courses are offered year-round to best serve the professional needs of our students. Classes are available in the morning, afternoon and evening to accommodate working students. Most associate of science degree programs can be completed in about 14 months, and certificate programs in approximately 7 months. All general education, theoretical coursework and practical experience (including externships and clinical time requirements) are included in this accelerated system.
