SJVC and our sister school, Carrington College, are making exciting changes to better serve our students. Starting this spring, healthcare programs currently offered by SJVC will move to Carrington College. These programs will remain on the same campuses with the same trusted faculty and curriculum—only the name will change. During the transition, Carrington College and SJVC students will continue learning side by side in shared classrooms.
Hands-On Career Training in the Skilled Trades

Students can train in programs such as Aviation Maintenance Technology, Construction Management, Electrical Technology, HVAC-R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration), and Maintenance Technician. Each program is structured to introduce foundational concepts and applied skills used in the field.

Aviation Maintenance Technology
SJVC’s Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) program provides you with the skills and technical knowledge needed to perform aircraft, airframe, and powerplant maintenance and inspections.
Construction Management Program
SJVC’s Construction Management (CM) program provides you with the skills and technical knowledge needed to manage residential and commercial construction projects.
Electrical Technology
SJVC’s Electrical Technology (ET) program meets the standards set forth by the California Department of Industrial Relations towards the the current California Electrician Certification Program.
Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration
SJVC’s Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC-R) program prepares you for a career in the heating and cooling industry.
Maintenance Technician
