About the Program
Business Office Administration
SJVC’s Business Office Administration program provides a framework of business knowledge and skills that can adapt to any company’s operation. Students develop into knowledgeable, ethical, and technically competent business professionals.

SJVC’s Construction Management program prepares students to manage residential and commercial construction projects. Upon completion of our associate’s degree program, students are trained to prepare competitive project proposals, supervise construction sites, and effectively communicate with clients and workers. Construction Management graduates leave SJVC ready for the management responsibilities they will face on the job at construction sites.
Criminal Justice: Corrections
SJVC’s Criminal Justice: Corrections program prepares graduates for a career in corrections. Our program includes instruction in criminal law, evidence collection and preservation, report writing, institutional corrections, physical agility training, defensive tactics, and weaponless defense. Many graduates initially find work in security and develop entry-level work experience while they pursue employment as a correctional officer.
Human Resources Administration
SJVC’s online Human Resources Administration program offers training in the procedures, policies, and practices found in today’s human resources departments. Our students develop personal, professional, and human relations skills necessary to perform the duties of a human resource administrator across the country.
