The SJVC Ontario campus lies on the Ontario Mills Parkway near I-10 and I-15, close to the Ontario International Airport and the Ontario Mills Mall. We serve students from Ontario and surrounding cities, including Rancho Cucamonga, Upland, Montclair, Pomona, Chino, Fontana, and Corona.

Construction Management
Construction managers typically regulate and handle building projects from start to finish. Our Construction Management program in Ontario teaches students to plan, lead, and oversee the building process. Students learn the Critical Path Method of construction planning, how to cost estimate and bid on projects, how to use relevant computer applications, and gain an understanding of labor and construction laws.
SJVC offers Construction Management programs either on-site or online. Earn your Associate of Science degree in as few as 14 months.
Electrical Technology
Electrician programs at our Ontario training center prepare students for the theory and practice of working with electricity, teaching such skills as:
- Installing and maintaining wiring, control, and lighting systems
- Inspecting electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers
- Identifying electrical problems using a variety of testing devices
- Repairing or replacing wiring, equipment, or fixtures
- Understanding and implementing safety regulations based on the National Electrical Code
The SJVC Ontario Electrical Technology program prepares students to sit for the California Electrician’s Certification Exam. Carrington College prepares students to take appropriate certification and licensure exams related to their individual majors. The College does not guarantee students will successfully pass these exams or be certified or licensed as a result of completing the program.

Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC-R)
SJVC’s HVAC-R program in Ontario, CA, prepares you for entry-level employment in the HVAC industry. HVAC technicians install, repair, and maintain the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in modern homes and businesses.
The HVAC-R program provides career training in:
- Heating and cooling principles
- Electrical theories
- Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems
- Proper installation, servicing, and replacement techniques
