A FOCUS ON TRADES, TECHNICAL & BUSINESS PROGRAMS
We’re Prioritizing Trades, Tech & Business while creating a new space for Healthcare
SJVC and our sister school, Carrington College, are making exciting changes to better serve our students. Starting this spring, healthcare programs currently offered by SJVC will move to Carrington College. These programs will remain on the same campuses with the same trusted faculty and curriculum—only the name will change. During the transition, Carrington College and SJVC students will continue learning side by side in shared classrooms.

Program and Location Updates
In the coming months, new students enrolling in allied health and nursing programs will join the Carrington College community, while SJVC will continue to offer business and trades programs.
If you’re currently enrolled in a SJVC allied health or nursing program, rest assured—you’ll complete your education at SJVC with the same dedicated faculty and support you’ve come to rely on, with minimal changes or interruptions.
What This Means for Current Students and Alumni
For current students, nothing changes—you’ll continue learning from the same dedicated faculty and staff who have supported you throughout your academic journey. In the coming months, new students enrolling allied heath and nursing programs will join the Carrington College community.
For our alumni, this transition marks an exciting new chapter for SJVC. While our focus is now solely on business and trades programs, you remain an important part of our story, and we’re proud of the impact you’ve made in your fields.
