Our 15-month Online Respiratory Therapy Bachelor of Science Degree program is specifically for working RRTs who want to advance their career but need the flexibility to do so. Offered 100% online, students can complete coursework when it’s most convenient for them. Students can transfer 70 units from the education received while earning their Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care. In as few as 15 months, students can complete the remaining 51 units needed to earn their Bachelor’s.

Why Should I Get My Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy?

According to the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC), a higher academic degree may qualify RRTs for an advanced role or a pathway to “becoming a manager, formal educator, or researcher.”¹

Why Should I Choose SJVC for My Respiratory Therapy Bachelor’s Degree?

SJVC has trained Respiratory Therapists (who earned A.S. Degrees) for 30 years. Our Respiratory Therapy program directors and educators are committed to student success and want to see students get the advancement opportunities that become available after obtaining a higher education level.

Our program is offered 100% online and is designed to help students achieve work, school and life balance.

Plus, our student-designed capstone research project allows you to identify an area of special interest, produce a proposal and then design a research project associated with that respiratory therapy specialty area. Additional core coursework assignments feed into this project, which culminates with evidence of your accomplishments in a portfolio that can show your career potential to current and future employers.
