SJVC Temecula Celebrates its 10th Anniversary

This year SJVC Temecula is celebrating its 10-year anniversary since opening to the community on July 5, 2011. The first day of class included just 66 students within three programs: Business Office Administration, Clinical Medical Assisting and Medical Office Administration.

Since then, the campus has helped educate thousands of students and expanded to a total of 10 programs in the business, medical, dental, criminal justice, and industrial trade fields. As we celebrate this historic milestone, we would like to share some insight on exactly how SJVC Temecula has impacted the community.

Since 2011, SJVC Temecula has provided a career-focused education for more than 1,100 Clinical Medical Assisting graduates with a total of 2,700 graduates from all programs as of April 2021.

Additional programs that were launched following its opening include Pharmacy Technology, Respiratory Therapy, and Heating Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (HVAC-R) – all of which began enrolling students the following year in 2012. In 2018 SJVC Temecula added several additional programs including Electrical Technology, Surgical Technology and Criminal Justice: Corrections.
