Established in 2005, San Joaquin Valley College’s Rancho Cordova campus offers accelerated programs in 2 growing career fields. Located in Sacramento County, California, right off of U.S. Route 50, the campus serves students in the greater metropolitan area.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment in Medical Assisting is projected to increase by 31 percent between 2010 and 2020 for the U.S. In addition, Respiratory Therapy jobs are expected to grow by 28 percent during the same time frame.
SJVC’s medical courses provide hands-on, practical experience as well as in-depth classroom instruction, ensuring our graduates are ready to go straight to work in these expanding professions.
In addition, as our programs are taught at an accelerated pace, Medical Assistant students can earn a certificate of completion in as few as 7 months, or an associate of science degree in as few as 14 months. Respiratory Therapy students can earn an associate of science degree in as few as 18 months.
