Program Highlights

Our Veterinary Technology program prepares you the with the skills you need to help animals when they need it most. This in-depth training covers all areas of animal patient care, from lab tests to radiology procedures and surgical assisting. Curriculum also focuses on communication skills involving pet owner education and counseling for the care of sick animals, as well as preventive measures.

Certifications Earned

Graduates earn an Associate of Science degree and are eligible to work as a Veterinary Assistant.

Upon completion of this program, students can qualify to take the Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) exam under the alternate route, after fulfilling work experience according to the California Veterinary medical Board.
