Bakersfield ASB adopts Kaleb from Make a Wish foundation

The Bakersfield ASB club adopted a little boy, Kaleb, from Make a Wish foundation last September. Kaleb is a 5 year old boy who experienced liver failure at the age of 3. His first transplant failed and he had to endure a second one. Kaleb's wish was to go on a Disney Cruise with his family, at a total cost of $9,000!

Bakersfield Campus came together and held a number of fundraisers to accomplish this goal. ESSM, IT and ASB clubs held car washes, dress down days, food sales and raffles to raise funds. ST club gave a donation to the cause. We also received a large donation from an anonymous CAMA instructor in honor of her mother. We were finally able to reach our goal after receiving a generous donation from Mike Perry!

We are very proud of the club and campus participation in granting Kaleb's wish. A special thanks to everyone who participated and donated for this very special little boy.
