Since 2004, SJVC’s Hanford campus has been helping people get the skills that meet the needs of the California job market. Our Hanford campus was established as an extension to our Visalia campus to better serve the educational needs of students and employers in Kings and Tulare counties.

Clinical Medical Assisting

SJVC Hanford's business courses are a great way to get started in the business world. Our Administrative Health Care Management is a great way to get involved in the medical field without becoming directly involved in patient care. This makes this program a great choice for anyone who is interested in the growing health care field but would rather work on the management aspects of the business. Our Hanford campus also offers courses in Business Administration, which is similar to our Administrative Health Care Management program, but is broader and applies to many industries. This flexibility is one of the many reasons attending school for business has become so popular.

If you're interested in making a difference in your community you should look into SJVC Hanford's Criminal Justice program. This program includes courses regarding armed and unarmed self-defense, arrest techniques and CPR / first aid techniques. If you're interested in becoming a police officer or a corrections officer you should contact us about our Criminal Justice: Corrections program.

For those who are interested in becoming a Medical Assistant or a Lab Technician, SJVC Hanford has a program in Clinical Medical Assisting. The courses for this program involve educating students on how to administer injections, how to process various lab tests, and how to record vital signs.
